The 'North light Puffins' card features the birds sitting and flying in front of Lundy North. You can also see Constable Rock to the right hand side. The lighthouse was completed in 1897 once the Old Light and the Battery (see these listings for details) had become obsolete. Work began in 1970 to automate the light but the last keepers were not taken off until 8th November 1976 when an underground cable link to the South Light was completed. Both North and South light are now fully automated.
