This original artwork was designed from a view on the walk to Hangmans Hill (current day Ugly) on the higher path which borders the North side of Millcombe Valley.
Featuring foxgloves and rhododendrons on the left with primroses on the right, you can also see the old gas shed and a pair of figures on the battlements. The valley view falls away to the Landing bay where we see one of the Campbells White Funnel steamers moored.
The original artwork was silk screened in the 1950’s and sits in the family collection.
I am sure you can see why this piece is the jewel in the Tide & Isle crown and is on a limited edition of 50 prints only.
